Unspeakable Joy
Last month I promised a report on the Living Word International Annual Conference that took place in July in Slough UK.

The theme for this years conference was Unspeakable Joy.

What I found interesting this year was that every speaker brought a message that revealed a different aspect of the subject matter. This resulted in a real building together to make a whole. It is wonderful to see the Holy Spirit do that. None of the speakers had any idea what the others would share. That made it extra special as He ensured that every delegate received powerful insights that hit home again and again. Only the Holy Spirit can do that and we rejoiced greatly.

For my part I preached largely on joy as a fruit of the Spirit and handed out seeded grapes as an illustration to demonstrate the fruit and the DNA for reproduction of joy that is held in the seed. It was a bit messy as they ate the fruit and retained the seed but I am sure they got the point. I shared some of this in my last month’s article on the website so if you did not read that yet I suggest you take a look. You can see a number of photos taken during that time and I hope you enjoy them.

We always enjoy great hospitality and wonderful worship at the conference and this year was no exception. There is a great spirit in the church and it is an honour to be a part of what they are building.

I have a number of speaking engagements coming up. I am speaking in my home church, Bath City Church on 26 August. Julie is joining me in Ireland on 23 September where I will be speaking once again in Arklow. Then we are heading to Romania on 25 October to conduct leaders seminars and for the first time I am going to hold a miracle meeting. This is new for the Romanian church in Brasov and I value your prayers because pentecostal churches are very traditional over there. They tend to react if they see something that they are not familiar with. I believe we will once again cut through that with the gospel of the kingdom and God will do great things.

Until next time push through for the kingdom.
