It was lunchtime last Saturday and there was a real buzz about the church as the helps ministry team at Cornerstone Christian Centre Bromley, UK sat down to fellowship and chat through the morning sessions I had just taught. I entered into some great conversations as each one saw the heart of working together in a supernatural flow. I was there to help with some training with their supportive ministry teams at the church.
As each team gathered afterwards and I talked through issues with them there was a great sense that each wanted to help and assist the other to achieve more than they could individually. I called it building the dream team. There is a dream(vision) and together they are building it. I am so looking forward to visiting again and observing what God has done.
That morning is an important part of what we do at Living Word UK. My heart is to help them build and reach out to be all God has called them as a church to do.
Coaching Leaders
In recent months I officially completed my certification and am now a fully certified ministry leadership coach with Ministry Coaching International.
So far I have begun coaching a young leader and I am seeing a powerful change in him as we go through the process in his one year stint. Having got so much out of doing coaching myself and seeing myself leading a more focussed and intentional life, it is so dynamic to see the same thing from the other side with this young man.
I am so convinced about the benefits. I share about it all the time. I know that many of the recipients of this newsletter are leaders or pastors. If you yourself are interested in pursuing this or feel it would be beneficial to your leadership team, then I would be more than happy to talk through the process with you and explain how it works.
We have many people in our life trying to give ideas and advice but few who will stand alongside us and work faithfully to enable us to be the best leader we can be. I have a passion to do that so lets talk.
The Blessing of the Lord
I cannot finish without a plug for a recent book I have read by Kenneth Copeland, the title is as above. It is one of the best books I have read and we have bought and given many away at our local church. They are getting hold of the BLESSING and God’s original intention for the truth we should be walking in as believers.
